We’ll be doing a live breakdance performance at 4:00pm @ Theatre On The Square.
About Fall Free For All:
The Fall Free For All is a two-day *FREE* community arts festival that offers 75+ events and activities all weekend long, and all FREE! Come enjoy the theaters, support local artists, dine out and shop in Tacoma’s vibrant Theater District.
Activities/performances will include:
* Portland Cello Project
* City Hall
* Paul Rucker
* Eleven Days in the Life of Dr. King
* The premiere of BCPA’s Voices of the City
* Films from The Grand Cinema
* Dance showcases by: Tacoma City Balet, Koncrete Studios, Fab-5 & MOVE!
* Hands-on activities for children
* A screening of U2: Rattle and Hum
and much, much, more!

Continuing to add to the excitement, Fab-5 was asked to appear alongside Rose Lincoln Hamilton, the President of The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation on KING5′s New Day NW program.

Here’s a couple of candid snapshots of some Fab-5/L.I.F.E. Students @ the 206 Zulu’s annual Anniversary battle in Seattle, WA.
In addition to getting down in the competition and open ciphers throughout the night, Fab-5 students also got a chance encounter to meet one of the original pioneers of the whole b-boy/breakdancing movement all the way back in 1982, Alien Ness from the Zulu Kingz (New York, NY). [pictured below]


Fab-5, in collaboration with PLU’s Diversity Center will be coming through to Pacific Lutheran University next Fri Feb. 18th!
Expect a night filled with performances by the PLU Step Team and a live Fab-5 showcase featuring our Lyricist’s Lounge, breakdance & DJ students + Tacoma crew, the DanceBroomz!
All the actions kicks off 7:30p in Chris Knutzen Hall

The L.I.F.E. Program 2010 was a *HUGE* success, over 150 students over the course of 10 weeks.
A big thank you goes to all the teaching staff & special shout out to all the guest instructors who came through to session with our youth! — Ohmega Watts, Fice, Ms. Jesse, Bruce Leroy, Boy (HaviKoro), Louie (The Good Foot), Niles, Lady Tasz, Clemm Rishad & The Sky Movement & Ill Will.
