Fab-5/L.I.F.E. Student @ Tacoma Repertory Dance Group

Here’s a quick snapshot of Fab-5/L.I.F.E. student Anthony Bounleurt at a Tacoma Repertory Dance Group performance that was held in November 2010.

Anthony has been involved with Fab-5 since 2008 and has excelled as one of our most dedicated dance students. He’s had an extremely busy Fall 2010 with showcases and performances at Stewart Middle School, Lincoln High School, Tacoma School of The Arts, Tacoma Arts Museum and Urban Grace Church.

If you wanted to check out more of Anthony, you can hit up his YouTube page where he’s posted his own video clips and other dance related media!

Fab-5 @ AMOCAT Awards!

Last week Fab-5 accepted the 2010 AMOCAT Award for ‘Outreach By a Community Organization’. The Tacoma Arts Commission threw a very nice soiree @ TAM and Fab-5 staff and students (new & old) were in attendance to celebrate the festivities!

Fab-5 @ Tacoma Art Museum (Sept. 2010)

In September 2010, Fab-5 got the privilege to do a private presentation to some folks in the South Sound community

We celebrated the occasion by creating 70 individual name tags for each invitee. We also were able to do a small dance showcase and present spoken word pieces from 2 of our students in the Lyricist’s Lounge. The party was hosted @ the Tacoma Arts Museum.

After the performances — our students mingled, answered questions, talked art, drank tea and enjoyed some tasty deserts.

Thanks TAM!
